Service was quick and the employees were knowledgeable and friendly. I personally love New England style chowder but I ended up getting the pan roast because I was told it's one of the most popular items. Even though it's not my favorite type of chowder, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Tons of seafood with large portions and one bowl of rice included. My partner ordered the jambalaya and he absolutely loved it too. We also ordered a small side order of New England clam chowder which was bomb so next time I go, I'm definitely getting a New England based chowder as my main. TMI but afterwards, I had a week of loose bowel movements which I think might have been from this meal because it is quite heavy BUT in spite of that, I would still gladly come back so if that isn't a rave review idk what is ”

“ This is a gate kept yet not so gate kept spot. The line can get crazy long depending on what time you go since this spot is 24/7. There's only I think like 16 seats. You walk towards the restaurant and think yes, there's not many people, but there's a line that's behind the wall to your left lol. But anyways, so we ordered the seafood jambalaya and house etoufee and both were so delicious! We got some sort of shrimp dish that I can't recall the name of, oops. The staff was chill and the vibes were good! If you're into oysters and all that, they have on the shell available too. The table next us were going to town on those. The portions are generous and we were so stuffed and couldn't eat all the food. ”

And now the breakdown: 17 seats, six boiling pots, one cook, and a handful of kitchen staff. We got half a dozen oysters and a bowl of clam chowder to share as an appetizer. For my entree, I ordered myself the Palace Pan Roast with the rice on the side as the Disney Princess, Natalie Y. from Los Angeles, CA (go add her!), instructed. I also got to snuck a few bites of the Bouille-Roast which tasted insanely seafood-y while the pan roast was like a thick lobster bisque. One entree is enough to share though and that's what I recommend you do. The two of us got here at 4PM and waited about 1.5 hours. After sitting, ordering, and eating, another 1.5 hours passed. That's A LOT of time to spend waiting for food! ”

“ Palace station's oyster bar is now a place we frequent mainly when we have friends who travel to Vegas with us. Otherwise we've eaten here enough to know we won't be disappointed but would like to try other places that make pan roast to compare. This place for the most is consistent in flavor and mostly everything on the menu is good, so you really can't go wrong. The service has always been friendly and though the last couple times we came and the wait has been 2+ hours, we never left feeling like it wasn't worth it; plus we know to never come here hangry because the uncertainty of wait times will ruin the meal for us. Palace station's oyster bar has been one of the few places that we've had pan roast where it automatically comes with rice. Almost all other places you have to order rice. Seating is super limited and I think that's what makes this place popular. Good eats, exclusivity, long waits, friendly service, and really it's almost like a Disneyland ride. You wait on like for what seems like forever, but once you're done with your meal you forget how bad and long you waited. So definitely think of this place as an experience and this is not something you can really do on a tight timeline; you will be disappointed if you do. ”

“ I finally had the chance to check out the Oyster Bar during the New Year's and I can finally understand the hype for this spot. The wait here is usually long as past reviews have stated going on upwards to 3 hours due to the limited seating here but man is the food worth the wait! I stopped by around 10am after landing at the airport and waited around 2 hours to be seated. You can have one person in line holding the spot as they don't have any type of waitlist system and everyone in line is usually understandable about the long wait. The menu has a variety of seafood dishes to choose from ranging from chowders to gumbo to their famous pan roasts and raw oysters. The atmosphere is lively as everyone who eats here is usually excited to eat here and the staff are friendly and warmly greet you when you sit down. I ordered the combo pan roast with a glass of champagne. The pan roast I got was simply amazing! The broth is super rich and has loads of seafood flavor and pairs well with the rice they give you on the side and dipping the free bread rolls is also a great move as well. There's plenty of lobster, crab, and lobster in the pan roast and it is an easy food coma meal and you will leave feeling very satisfied! The staff told me that the least busy time is around 6am to 8am and I can't wait to be back again as the food is so worth the wait! ”

Parking is The oyster bar is easy to miss, tucked in near a sea of slot machines in the corner of the casino. I got to the bar at 9:30 a.m. on a Saturday since I've heard that the weekend wait can be 2-3+ hours long. About 10 people were waiting before me, and I got seated in about 45 minutes. The food our party ordered for 3: Crab Gumbo - The gumbo is dense and packed with crab meat, sausage, chicken, and okra. It was a bit on the saltier side for me, but the medley of flavors definitely Combo Pan Roast--Creamy tomato perfection! This is my favorite dish out of the three. The broth is complex to describe; it's similar to a tomato bisque with rich seafood flavors. The side of rice makes it almost a tomato risotto. We ordered the combo, which contained shrimp, crab, and lobster. Linguine Clams--this was a sleeper hit! Huge portions. There is so much clam sauce that you can't even see the pasta underneath when they bring it out. The sauce is fantastic, and you can eat spoonfuls of it by itself. It is perfectly tangy and garlicky with vibrant clam flavors. There's a reason locals and tourists visit this unassuming bar time and time again. The food and service are immaculate. Hours after I finished eating, I was thinking about the pan roast. I truly wish they had this spot closer to me! I'll be back next time to brave the lines again and try the dishes I wasn't able to this time. ”
